John Oeftering was born and raised in South Eastern Michigan. He joined Temptation Yacht Sales, Inc. in the Fall of 2011. John is a second generation Great Lakes Boater, and has been boating on Lake St. Clair the majority of his life. In addition to the Great Lakes, John has spent considerable time boating in South Florida during the winter months.Selling boats has been a life long passion. His Father gave him his official start back in the 60s while working at the original “Harbor Hill Marina” on the Detroit River. His well rounded, hands on approach has helped him manage and supervise boat sales over the years. The wealth of product knowledge and attention to customer service desires adds to his success. “My Passion for boating and sharing my abilities with other boaters brings me joy” – John W.
