Born and raised in Massachusetts, Michael grew up in the family boat business, started in 1953 by his Dad. Going to work on Saturdays was something he always looked forward to. ”I learned the business on the dock and boating from New England to Florida. Bringing a boat to Florida as a family always provided great adventures and once you are hooked, you can’t imagine ever not being on the water.” Michael learned the business from the ground up; working the gas dock, the service and parts departments, painting bottoms, running the ship’s store, operating the Travelift, working boat shows, and all the other aspects of the marina and boat sales business.
