Nancy Ballard is a native of Kemah, Texas. In 1987, Nancy joined the LPGA, her career as a professional golfer spanning over 26 yrs. During this time, Nancy fell in love with boating, owning both power and sail boats, she eventually found herself gravitating towards sailing. While sailing extensively throughout Galveston Bay and the Texas Gulf Coast, Nancy’s passion for sailing grew. In 2012, Nancy left Kemah aboard her Ta Chiao 56 sailboat to live the cruising life. Her cruising adventures include: two Gulf crossings, one Atlantic passage along the eastern seaboard to the beautiful Chesapeake Bay, and the exploration of the Bahama and Caribbean islands.
