Graham Thomson moved into the large private yachting industry after a successful career of ten years with the British Royal Navy, where he was heavily involved in all aspects of the Naval aircraft, which led to, operating in several front line environments, time spent in Antarctica assisting in extensive research, the creating of Admiralty Charts, operation of helicopters deep into the Antarctic Circle, this gave Graham an early knowledge of the sea and its relationship with the land.

This extensive Naval back ground gave Graham an excellent work ethic and shipping borne knowledge that helped him tremendously in the industry of large private yachts. His skills in engineering, navigation, man management proved to be extremely useful, when employed as captain on several of these large private yachts. Graham sailed extensively in the Mediterranean, Caribbean and parts of Northern Europe as a captain. One other part of the large yacht industry is the repair and service work that is undertaken in large and small shipyards throughout the world, so that these vessels can maintain their high standards in appearance and engineering.

With all this past knowledge in marine activities from around the globe, Graham started the company MTS Yachts several years ago, the company was put in place to best serve the super yacht industry, and at the same time fill a gap where technical support and consultancy appeared to be missing large yacht operation, producing a hands on management style that captains and owners like. With Graham’s military and marine back ground, MTS Yachts is heavily involved in government marine related contracts globally. In addition MTS Yachts has operated a successful crew placement division. Through time the company’s knowledge was being sought after for the ever expanding business of marina and shipyard design and development.

Now with over twenty years in yacht management and brokerage, Graham with MTS Yachts have been selected to manage all maritime operations of Sea Life Rescue, this amazing charity that will replenish the Oceans of the world, www.sealiferescue.org
