Manufacturer's Description

The award-winning 34O is Back Cove’s first-ever outboard-powered model. Her revolutionary hull design features Back Cove’s proprietary Trailing Edge Lifting Surface (TRELIS) Ⓓ which gets her on plane faster and requires less horsepower than traditional hull designs. Capable of a 30-knot cruise and top-end speeds in excess of 40 knots, the Back Cove 34O will extend your cruising grounds, bringing new destinations within range and reducing travel time. Her cockpit is meant for entertaining with an aft-facing seat that converts into additional salon seating. At the helm, her captain will enjoy 360-degree sightlines, surrounded by large opening windows for abundant light and air. To port, a comfortable mate’s seat is the perfect perch while underway. When at anchor, the mate’s seatback slides forward, creating an elegant and social U-shaped settee. To starboard and aft of the helm is the fully equipped on-deck galley with convection microwave, two-burner electric cooktop, and ample storage. Below deck, the Back Cove 34O offers a comfortable queen-sized island berth outfitted with storage drawers and spacious outboard shelves. Aft of the berth, she features a split head and shower unit that ensures her owners are comfortable no matter how long their journey. Extra provisions, water toys, and other accouterments will find their perfect home in the Back Cove 34O’s sizable storage space, conveniently located beneath the salon sole.

Andrew is a life-long yachtsman who grew up boating on the lakes and coast of Maine. Whether he was exploring and fishing Casco Bay on his Sea Ox or water skiing behind the family bow-rider on Sebago Lake, Andrew’s summers revolved around the water. Like any teenage boy, one of the few things that got him off the water was food, and some of Andrew’s fondest summer memories came from listening to the craftsmen from Sabre Yachts exchange boat building stories as he waited with them in line for a sandwich at the general store in Raymond. “I can still smell the resin and see the glass fibers on their clothes”, says Andrew.
