Construction

  • Hull, solid fiberglass construction (nearly 2 inches thick below the waterline; they don’t build boats like this anymore!
  • Coosa foam cored side decks new in 2014 (teak decks removed, re-cored, deck painted, and light grey non-skid added).
  • Fully encapsulated, long cruising lead keel (not cast iron, like the Passport 40)
  • Full skeg rudder
  • Interior joinery is solid teak millwork with teak and holly floors; interior walls in the process of being refinished in the classic Herreshoff-style (paneling painted white with all teak millwork and trim bright varnished with Epiphanes varnish)
  • Zero maintenance PVC cabin headliner throughout
