Description
Originally owned by Ted Hood, called ROBIN TOO, this is a beautiful example of an original Little Harbor design.
A sistership to Ted Hood's second ship, ROBIN, this is a well-cared for and nicely-upgraded example of the original Little Harbor design series. RAMBLE has been re-powered, had an extensive re-fit of her decks, bottom re-fastened, new rudder, new masts and rigging (that alone was $30,000!) and winches and sail and electronics updates. For those desiring a traditional and well-built wood boat, one need look no further!
2021 to 2024:
new rudder
new bottom planking up 4 planks each side
new B&g electronics throughout
new B&g radar dome
new transmission
new starter
new sail covers
new hydraulic autopilot computer and controller

History
Ramble is a pedigreed yacht with a rich maritime history. She was designed by Ted Hood for his own personal use and was originally named ROBIN TOO II. He and his family raced her for a few years, and among many other victories won the Marblehead to Halifax Race.
In more recent years she has enjoyed excellent care and under previous ownership, she has sailed two Atlantic Circles including the Med and Caribbean covering 40,000 miles and 17 countries. Typical of Ted Hood's designs the Little Harbor 36 sails wonderfully and receives compliments wherever she goes.
This Little Harbor 36 has benefitted from substantial re-fit work over the last 15 years, including refastening her double-planked hull, replacing planks where needed, stripping the bottom, installing a new engine, new rudder, new electronics, and replacing the original rig with a new main, and mizzen masts along with all rigging, all new sails, and extensive re-fitting of her decks.
