Description

GRACE was purchased in January 2017 by a knowledgeable boat owner who made improvements from bow to stern. Included are a new galley, a new hot tub on the boat deck, engine room improvements, new toilet system, etc., and in 2019 was resold to another very knowledgeable boat owner who has since spent unlimited money upgrading the interior and mechanicals to make the yacht show like a Palm Beach Yacht.

When originally built, GRACE’s layout was carefully considered and built so that an owner or operator could easily call her a five-stateroom layout. If there is a crew, their quarters are located in a separate area forward to the galley in two staterooms.

WALKTHROUGH

GRACE stands out as the epitome of pristine luxury in its size category. Originally designed with meticulous attention, GRACE features a layout that allows an owner-operator to comfortably designate it as a 5-stateroom vessel. In the presence of a crew, their quarters are thoughtfully situated in a separate area forward to the galley, comprising two staterooms.

Accessing GRACE is effortless, whether from a floating dock through the swimming platform into the cockpit or from a fixed dock using the MarQuipt Tide Ride ladder, leading to the aft deck through either the port or starboard boarding gate.

The teak aft deck boasts a teak sole, fixed seating, and a varnished teak table with a hinged center section and a new teak counter. Additionally, a ladder to the aft flybridge and built-in cabinets with a fridge enhance this space.

Entering the salon via a stainless-steel sliding door on the starboard side, you'll find a new L-shaped couch to port and two new occasional chairs to starboard. A full-size upright L-shaped cherry wood cabinet houses the main deck pop-up 42' Sony LCD TV with lift, complemented by a Yamaha AM/FM/audio/video surround sound receiver, Blu-Ray player, and SAT TV receiver.

Forward, curved steps lead to the main accommodation area below. To port, a 6-seat fixed dining table with loose and bench seating showcases a high-gloss cherry frame with a camphor burl inlay. The cherry three-diamond design, a hallmark of Hargrave's attention to detail, is repeated throughout the yacht. The forward bulkhead features a high-gloss china cabinet with a Crossgain pattern.

The salon's overhead exhibits a cherry tray ceiling detail with 8 LED mini spots, while large windows on all sides offer ample natural light. The yacht is equipped with louvered soffits for air conditioning delivery, and the carpeted sole was newly replaced in 2021.

Moving forward, the galley has been completely refitted with new stone countertops and appliances (2018 - 2021). A 3–4-person dinette is located forward to starboard, and to port, there's a fully equipped lower control station.

Descending several steps, you'll find a space that could serve as a crew cabin or accommodate additional guests. An L-shaped lounge to port is complemented by a large hanging locker, with the yacht's washer/dryer and shared forward head to starboard.

Forward to port is a double berth cabin, while to starboard, there are twin over/under bunks.

The main accommodation area, accessible via a curved stair in the salon, includes a master suite with a king-size bed, settee, and ensuite. Forward to port is a queen-size ensuite stateroom, and to starboard, a twin ensuite stateroom.

The expansive flybridge can be reached from the galley pilothouse area or aft from the boat deck.

The centerline helm features two seats, with a large seating group to port and an outdoor kitchen to starboard. A 5-person round hot tub on the boat deck adds to the luxurious amenities, and the crane allows for the storage of a large tender.

JIM MCCONVILLE

Merle Wood & Associates is excited to introduce the newest addition to our team, Jim McConville, a distinguished veteran with an impressive 38-year career in the yachting industry. His wealth of expertise and experience places him among the elite brokers

worldwide.

Jim McConville’s journey in the yachting world began in a small Midwestern town near Chicago, where he developed a deep-rooted passion for boating during his summers. After completing his college education, Jim embarked on a new chapter in South Florida, laying the foundation for a remarkably successful career in the yachting industry. His initial foray involved selling offshore race boats back in 1985. However, Jim’s dedication to serving his clients led him to transition seamlessly into yacht sales as many of his customers sought larger vessels.

In 1988, Jim joined Allied Marine, consistently earning the title of brokerage “Salesman of the Year” for most of his tenure

with Allied. His commitment to client satisfaction and exceptional sales achievements remained unwavering at Allied.

Subsequently, from 2000 to 2008, Jim lent his expertise to IYC, where he continued to shine as the “Salesman of the Year.”

His journey came full circle as he returned to Allied Marine from 2008 to 2023.

Jim’s illustrious career is punctuated by several remarkable achievements. Jim sold the three largest yachts sold by Allied

Marine in its 74-year history, with the largest vessel measuring an impressive 221 feet and the most expensive

commanding a price exceeding $50 million. Moreover, Jim has sold 55 yachts over 100 feet in length.

Jim McConville’s unparalleled knowledge of the yachting industry, market values, unwavering honesty, customer loyalty,

post-sale follow-up, and a genuine love for the industry consistently inspires his clients to return for repeat transactions.

One of his clients has engaged Jim in over 15 boat transactions in the past 38 years, exceeding $100 million in sales.

Remarkably, in the past three years, 85% of Jim’s sales have come from repeat clients and referrals.

Jim stands as one of the few brokers globally who has achieved yacht sales exceeding $800 million, including an

astounding $163 million in 2023 alone. His exceptional negotiation skills, deep understanding of boats, market values,

yacht systems, commitment to quality construction, extensive marketing of his listings, and unparalleled ability to uncover

the best values for his clients truly set him apart.

Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jim’s personal experiences on the water have been nothing short of extraordinary.

He has enjoyed yachting in various picturesque destinations, including the Bahamas, the Caribbean, the entire eastern

coastline from Key West to Maine, and the Mediterranean. Jim, together with his son, calls Fort Lauderdale home, where

they share the joy of boating aboard their 37’ Boston Whaler. Notably, Jim has also owned a 75’ Hatteras, which served as his

personal yacht, granting him an invaluable perspective on yacht ownership few brokers can match.

Jim McConville’s dedication to his clients and his unparalleled yacht industry expertise make him a valuable addition to the

Merle Wood & Associates team. We are excited to welcome him aboard and look forward to the exceptional contributions

he will bring to our esteemed clientele.
