Dan fell in love with the water at a young age while sailing on his parents' boat. He started racing a Butterfly at his sailing club at age 8 and he has never looked back. Recently, Dan has been single-handing a Catalina 30 but also has a Laser and Boston Whaler he used to take out from time to time. He enjoys the thrill of catching a big gust of wind and also loves the slow, social days of getting friends on the boat and relaxing. Dan is ASA Certified, an Eagle Scout, and has over 30 years of experience boating. When off the water, Dan is passionate about having fun, whether hiking, rock climbing, socializing, listening to good music, or eating good food. He loves it all! Growing up in Atlanta, GA, Dan has always had an entrepreneurial mindset, having started a number of businesses along with a successful career as a Senior Manager at a high-end retail company.
