About

1992 Tecnomarine 58' Motoryacht

Tecnomarine is regarded as one of the foremost shipyards in Italy and has been a leader since the shipyard's founding in 1972. During the 50 years since its founding, Tecnomarine has built more than 300 yachts from 42 to 120 feet. During the 1980s Tecnomarine was at the forefront of the shipbuilding industry with its Cobra line of express cruisers. These Motoryachts built by Tecnomarine just after that time, (of which "Stella" is a prime example), continued to use the proven straight shaft drive systems with Twin Disc transmissions and Detroit Diesel Engines. All of the yachts built by Tecnomarine were built to class, such as Bureau Veritas, RINA, or ABS. "Stella" has been built under survey to class Maltese Cross A-1 Yachting Class/AMS, American Bureau of Shipping, (ABS). This yacht is built as a small ship with damage control bilge pumping hard plumbed into each compartment, on deck firefighting stations as well as automatic fire suppression system in the machinery spaces, and other features designed to make the yacht both safe and seaworthy.

"Stella" is hull number four of the T-58 design and was built originally for an American client with the construction overseen by his US representative to US mechanical and electrical standards. No changes are needed to have her compatible with your local marina shore power systems. "Stella" has always been maintained to the highest yacht standards and continuously upgraded. A unique vessel on the American waterways, this yacht has styling that compares favorably to the latest designs from Azimut, Sunseeker, and Riva, among others, yet still features greater interior volume than the more recent models.

"STELLA" is a rare offering, her current owners purchased her after comparing other examples of 55 to 60-foot European and Domestic motor yachts. They chose STELLA due to her high-end finishes, Italian design, efficient interior layout, and US-compatible systems.

I joined the Brewer Yacht Sales team in 1997 at the Brewer Sakonnet location and relocated in 1999 upon the opening of our Wickford Cove office. During my time with Brewers, I have won numerous awards including "Broker of the Year," "Customer Satisfaction," and most recently I received the "Team Work" award. I am a proud member of the Yacht Brokers Association of America and a Certified Professional Yacht Broker. I place a high value on meticulous service and comprehensive knowledge of our products. I started my career in sales as a manufacturer's representative at 18 years old and continued to represent electronics distributors until I opened my own business buying and selling companies and their production equipment both domestically and abroad.

Introduced to boating as an infant, I can't recall a summer when we weren't water skiing, fishing, or sailing. My father was a Sales Manager for Mercury and we grew up in Rhode Island where I had opportunities to crew on sport-fishing boats and campaign-racing sailboats on a regular schedule. My lifetime on the water offers me the valuable experience necessary to facilitate new and practiced boaters alike with the purchase or sale of their next boat!
