Old Florida will be an amazing family boat or economical charter boat for Isla Perlas Panama , David Panama , Golfito/Puerto Jiménez Costa Rica , Quepos , Los Sueños, Carillo/Garza ,Flamingo or Papagayo marina Costa Rica.

Her #1 Highlight: fuel economy, fuel economy, fuel economy. Old Florida’s Yanmar 315 (750 hours) effortlessly pushes her along quietly at 23 knots burning 7 gallons per Hour or .3 gallons per mile. She tops out at 27 knots being pushed by Hytorque 4 blade nibral props mounted to a 1/12 inch shaft with shaft tube to a 1.5 to one Zf Hurth Transmission. This is all protected by a small keel with a stainless guard continuing aft below the running gear mounted to the rudder post. She is controlled by 2 bulletproof Kobelt mechanical heavy duty cable drive controls from the tower and center console.. With a very well laid out console with large fwd seating has twin VDO fuel Gauges in plain view. Yanmar Gauges and the added pyrometer for exhaust temps. You can drive comfortably above and below steering statins with Edsen helms Her popular Birdsall seat/rocket launcher combo has a comfortable footrest and backrest and 4 rod holders with a cooler below.

She has two 90 gallon fuel tanks that gives her an unreal range which means less time at the fuel dock refueling. Old Florida has spent her life under cover and

The Boca Grand was designed by Charlie Morgan and was initially built for sight fishing on the gulf coast of Florida for Tarpon and Cobia from the tower. With the calm waters of the Pacific and her sizable cockpit with 8 rod holders in the pit and 4 more east access on the tower legs. A 130lb class pedestal mount ready for installing a battle saddle that the current owner has available for an additional price along with the upper station she will make an excellent boat for pursuing sails and marlins and trophy tunas. She was lengthened two feet with Bennet recessed trim tabs to add waterline length which helped her hull speed and now provides excellent transom space for a tuna bag while fishing ,tuna tubes and or as a easy access swim step through the cockpit tuna door. You can use the automatic windlass from helm station to drop the anchor by the beach for the beach days. Plug in your phone to the double usb charger and connect to the Fusion MS RA 70 stereo’s Bluetooth signal with 1000w amp to power the kicker waterproof speakers to play all of your playlists and spray off the salt water with 30 gallons of fresh water with great pressure. There is also ample space for giving kids a break from the sun in the fwd VBerth as well.

Old Florida has ample dry rod storage forward of the helm station in the v berth below deck so you won't have to remove the tackle while in dry storage the marina slip or even while trailering her to your house . All in all Old Florida is going to make a family or charter operation very happy with amazing fuel economy , lots of space , and the conveniences of rod storage, easy lift for dry storage as a single prop boat and her reinforced spray rail that does not require chine blocks with a travel lift . All this and fewer trips to the fuel dock make old Florida a great boat for this region.
