Doug has been sailing and working on boats since his early teens. What started out as sailing catamarans and helping out at the boatyard on weekends, turned into a lifetime career in the boat industry. Doug has worked for several boat dealerships and a sailboat steering company over his more than 40 year career. He has been the manager of Eastern Yacht Sales, Inc. since 1989 and now oversees day to day operations for all EYS locations. Doug is a hands-on manager. It is not unusual to find him in the yard, discussing the details of equipment layouts and commissioning procedures for a clients new boat.
