Manufacturers Description

For those who believe the view is always better at the top, the Sea Ray 450 Express Bridge provides a great spot to enjoy it from. It's long and wide with a generous beam of 14 feet 8 inches to offer plenty of space for entertaining, and plush sleeping accommodations for up to six people. The walk-through bridge features an adjustable captain's chair, forward and aft bench seats with storage below, a wetbar with ice maker, and a snap-in carpet. The helm is the finest control station ever designed by Sea Ray for optimum visibility, and easy access to a host of standard electronics and digital LCD systems monitors. Also standard are the bridge cover, cocktail table, and Clarion AM-FM digital cassette stereo with a six-disc CD changer, subwoofer, six speakers, and remote controls. The aft cockpit has abundant storage in the transom wall, which also features a convenient fold-down seat. Dual transom doors open out to the large fiberglass swim platform (with its own concealed ladder) and there are molded fiberglass cockpit stairs for easy boarding. In the spacious, well-lit cabin of Sea Ray 450 Express Bridge, the salon provides a homelike setting surrounded by granite-look countertops and tables, handcrafted wood trim, plush throw pillows, and deep-pile marine carpet. The comfortable U-shaped sofa - dinette invites guests to take their leisure while enjoying the TV - VCR - radio combination, and Clarion AM-FM digital cassette with a six-disc CD changer and six speakers. In the galley, there's plenty of room for cooking and provisions with a three-burner electric stove, refrigerator and freezer, microwave - convection oven, coffee maker and more. Plenty of storage space can be found in upper and lower cabinet space and in a floor storage compartment. Serving meals is also easy at the breakfast bar. Even cleanups are made worry-free with custom-molded fiberglass countertops and a concealed trash receptacle. The Sea Ray 450 Express Bridge has private accommodations, including a forward stateroom with full-size bed and innerspring mattress, entertainment center with TV - VCR - radio combination, and storage space including enclosed gunwale cabinets. The master shower and head area is complete with a VacuFlush toilet and power vent, vanity, sink, and mirrored medicine cabinet. In the guest stateroom, there's a full-size bed, and plenty of built-in storage along with its own private VacuFlush head and shower. And there's a third stateroom aft with yet another full-sized bed, abundant storage areas, and a washer and dryer. The 450 Express Bridge, with standard twin 340 horsepower Caterpillar V- drives and a meticulously crafted hull, provides outstanding performance while the patented underwater exhaust system keeps the ride quiet as well. A standard 8.0 kW diesel generator provides added security while a host of upgrades - including autopilot, hydraulic marine lift swim platform, and more - enable Express Bridge owners to set their own standards of excellence for cruising the high seas.

From Powerboat Guide

Sea Ray moved the innovation bar up a notch in 1998 with the introduction of the 450 Express Bridge. It wasn’t just the sleek, low-profile styling that drew attention; the real innovation is below

where the 450’s spacious step-down interior conceals two small staterooms beneath the raised settee/dinette to starboard in the salon. The aft stateroom — accessed via a private entryway next to the salon door — includes a full-length bed with hanging locker and built-in washer/dryer. Forward of that, the amidships stateroom features a double berth with partial standing headroom and an opening port. An island bed is in the master stateroom forward, and both heads include separate stall showers. Across from the dinette (and aft of the galley) is a breakfast bar with two swing- out stools. High-gloss cherry cabinets, faux granite countertops, and vinyl overheads highlight this upscale interior, but small salon windows limit natural lighting below. Topside, the huge party-time flybridge has seating fore and aft of the wraparound helm console. Another unique feature of the 450 Express Bridge is the staircase descending from the flybridge to the foredeck. Cummins 450hp V-drive diesels cruise at 20–22 knots.

David likes to joke that he was born on the water and was sailing before he could walk. There may be some proof to that as his father and business partner Lee has circulated photos around the office of David single handing the families “sailing dinghy” at a very young age.

As a youngster, he became a successful sailor at the Thames Yacht Club (TYC) in New London, Ct. As a member of the TYC’s competitive sailing team racing Lasers, Blue Jays & 420’s. Through the years, he’s competed in countless one-design regattas, Block Island Race week, Off Soundings and even competed in 420 Nationals, where some of the most feverish competition was always expected.

During the “summer season” David could always be found somewhere on the water running boats all over New England, fishing, sailing, diving. At the young age of 15, David and his father Lee sailed the families J30 from New England to the West Coast of Florida where they set roots.

After spending the better part of two decades in various Executive Management & Sales positions in the mortgage lending/servicing and Default Asset Management space. Most recently serving as VP of Operations/Vendor Management for a National Default Asset Management Company and previously serving as the C.O.O. of a national asset disposition firm managing R.E.O. Properties for the nation’s largest financial institutions. David decided it was time to return to his passion of the marine industry.

With nearly 10 years of brokerage experience with some of Florida’s premier Yacht Sales Organizations, where he created the marketing and on-site display at Marina Jack, serving as the Edgewater Boats Product Line Manager. David also assisted with the Vicem & Marquis lines.  David & Lee decided it was time to build their own brand and formed Professional Yacht Sales International in September of 2018.

David’s vast knowledge of both power and sailboaters’ needs gives our clients a comfort level that their best interests and Professional Representation are his primary concern. Regardless of which side of the transaction (buyer/seller/both) he is on, David brings his lifetime of experiences to every client relationship always putting the client’s needs first.

When he is not working (which is rarely) he is an avid boater, scuba diver & fisherman competing in local fishing tournaments.
