Description

The Marlow-Hunter 50 Aft Cockpit stands as a departure from the ordinary Hunter vessels, boasting a design that emphasizes elegance and functionality. With its sleek, low-profile cabin top, twin helms, and graceful flowing lines, the 50 AC is the epitome of innovation.

Designed to captivate the offshore market, the 50 AC is based on the successful hull of the 49 and expanding the guest stateroom space by pushing the beam further aft. This redesign also creates a spacious swim platform, enhancing both sailing and docking maneuverability. The sizable open cockpit, equipped with twin wheels, allows for effortless navigation from either side and offers a fully enclosed space where you can sit back and relax while at anchor or underway.

But the real magic unfolds below deck, where the yacht's generous beam becomes truly evident. With a luxurious 6'9" headroom, the interior layout comprises three comfortable cabins, a modern galley with all the latest fittings, a spacious salon that maximizes the beam's potential, two separate heads with showers, a dedicated navigation station, an office area, washer/dryer facilities, and the added comfort of hydronic heating and air conditioning.

NEVERLAND was custom-ordered with a comprehensive list of premium options, offering a truly unmatched experience on the water.

Jamie has spent his life on the water. His parents took him sailing for the first time when he was six weeks old on their family boat in Charleston, SC. From there, he grew up sailing and boating in Chicago at various clubs. Jamie was a member of the Sailing Team at St. Mary's College of Maryland, where he was part of the Team that won the 2004 College Team Racing Nationals.

After college, Jamie began his career in the Marine Industry, first working for Vanguard Sailboats in Newport before moving on to various other Dinghy Retailers and Manufacturers. Most recently, Jamie has been the Dealership Manager at Sirocco Marine in Annapolis, where he sold Brig and Fluid Rigid Inflatable boats around the Mid-Atlantic.

Jamie brings years of racing and cruising experience to David Walters. He has extensive offshore and inshore experience in boats ranging from dinghies to large one-design offshore race boats. Some of his highlights include multiple Chicago to Mackinac Races, dozens of East Coast Off-Shore events, countless hours racing on the Chesapeake Bay, and winning the 2019 US Sailing Mallory Trophy.

When he's not on the water, Jamie can be found around Annapolis with his Border Collie, Calli, skiing in the winter or in the field hunting waterfowl and shooting sporting clays.
