Description

The Nautitech 47 is widely regarded as one of the best-looking catamarans ever built. She looks quick, nimble and elegant even while sitting still. That said, she's not only about good looks, she's a real sailor's boat that goes quick, is very responsive and has a sporty feel, while still retaining large and comfortable interior spaces. With only around 38 of these boats built in a 6-year run, these are hand-built, really well constructed, safe, blue-water boats.

The outboard helms provide amazing sightlines and really connect you with the wind and the sea when underway. When the weather is inclement, let the pilot drive and stay dry in the comfortable cockpit underneath the huge hard bimini top. The lack of flybridge allows for an enormous, powerful mainsail with a boom set low down for a much lower center of effort and greater stability.

Build quality of these boats is top notch; even in heavy seas there's no sense of stressing the boat, she remains quiet and composed, really inspiring confidence. This model features enormous wide side decks further inspiring confidence when moving around the vessel. These may be the best-built production boats of their era.

Upstairs is a u-shaped galley that is larger and more practically laid out than most catamarans of this size. The saloon is large, open and airy, the folding dining table able to seat perhaps 8 guests. There's also a very comfortable and practical navigation station for piloting when underway, or that serves as a comfortable workspace while stationary. Throughout the boat the furnishings are higher-quality wood veneers, there's no sense of ikea flat pack furniture on these vessels.

Down below are 4 cabins with ensuite heads, plus 2 kiddie/crew berths in each of the the forepeaks. Berths are large and comfortable, surrounded by rich and beautiful real-wood panelling. (One of the 4 heads is currently converted to a laundry facility). Plentiful ports and hatches makes for an airy, breezy sleep.

The vessel has always been a full-time cruiser and will be delivered ready to carry on exploring the Caribbean and beyond. She's equipped with high-quality Lithium battery bank, 2 solar arrays, 60L/hr watermaker. A large front-opening fridge and separate front-opening freezer keep you in fresh food for many days. The vessel comes with all the household goods required to cruise immediately.

She's powered by 54HP 4JH Yanmars with around 3,000 hours. Slow cruise fuel consumption is 2.2 Litres per hour per engine. SD50 Saildrives (recently disassembled and refreshed) are equipped with folding propellers for efficiency under sail. The 3.4M Highfield tender is new from April of 2021, 18 HP Tohatsu Everrun outboard is from October of 2021.

Turn heads in every anchorage in this beautiful vessel, while you live aboard in safety and comfort.

Overview

Accomodation

4 double cabins - the two forward cabins have cubby-like berths, with a step up into bed. These cabins feel more suite-like with a nice passageway going past the head space and the dressing area. Up front of the forward cabins are crew/kiddy cabins, each still retaining two bunks for kids or crew. Forward cabins feature two hatches, one at the foot of the bed, one at the head of the bed, for excellent airflow.

Aft cabins have a more pullman-style berth, with a large hanging locker and lots of drawer and cubby space.  Aft cabins have a large hatch even with the head of the bed.

4 Heads. On the port side, both heads are still in service. On the Starboard side, one head has been converted to a laundry with a large, Vedette 6Kg laundry machine. Heads are manual, all heads pumps have been replaced in recent years.

Sleeps 10-12. With all berths in use, the vessel will sleep 12.
