Description

A RYE is a well maintained and very well equipped 2016 Key West 239 FS. The 239 FS offers the largest cockpit in its class, and loaded with features for both family comfort and serious fishing.

With emphasis on comfort, fishing, and safety, your Family Sportsman will feature more seating and storage, even a changing/potty room, while having the fishing features you would expect in any center console design, like rod racks, trolling rod holders, live well, and even a macerated fish box in some models.

The 239 FS is the answer to the question of whether a boat can fish hard on Saturday and then capture family fun on the water on Sunday. It provides plenty of roominess and fishing features to bring home the big catch while also providing the comfort features of a relaxing bow lounge and an aft bench sea that can easily accommodate five across.

  • Convenience Center with cutting board, sink, storage, drawer, knife holder, and matching cushioned seating slide-out cooler (RARE OPTION and not available on new builds anymore!)

  • Yamaha F250 Super High Output model engine with custom paint scheme and logos to match the hull. The SHO edition of the Yamaha F250 has higher horse power than the standard F250 and almost the same torque as the F300 but with max torque earlier in the max revs. This combination provides for excellent performance while heavily loaded or in rough waters. Great for taking the boys offshore with a full fishing load or a weekend cruise to the sandbar. Only 381 hours.

  • Upgraded 12" Garmin chart plotter & Fusion stereo with AirPlay 2 and Bluetooth connectivity

  • Upgraded Lumitec underwater lights

  • Three sided isinglass curtains

  • MarineMat foam teak decking on transom and console mat

  • Pump-out head (no porta-potty to take apart and mess with!)

  • Upgraded powder coated T-Top frame with color matched hardtop

  • Storage Cover

  • No Trailer Included

Commentary and Reviews

BROKERS COMMENTS

A RYE has been a pleasure to operate. Having sold the boat to the current owners the only reason they are selling is to upgrade to a larger boat. It fits in quite well at sandbars and for cruising. The rough water capabilities are surprising considering the size of the boat, Key West did a good job designing the 239 FS.
