Description

Yet this Tahiti veteran has all of the inviting and elegant Hylas interior comforts. This unique 2011 Hylas 46 has a custom centerline, full queen berth forward with an ensuite head - in place of the usual Pulman berth.

The center cockpit is safe and secure with a full dodger and Bimini with removable screens. The helm provides great visibility and full instrumentation. Trimming is a breeze with the two electric Antal primary winches. She has both a Selden whisker pole for the Genoa and a Selden GX-25 continuous line furler and retractable bow sprit for the Doyle asymmetrical APC to let her run down-wind. In heavier conditions she reefs easily with the electric in-mast furling and factory in boom preventer. The Flex-o-Fold prop reduces drag.

One almost misses the large, deck accessible sail/anchor locker forward. Aft, the stainless steel pushpit with custom fixed teak seats and integral life raft cradle has been fully extended to the mid-ship gates for safety. Other deck details include sturdy mooring cleats, stainless steel chocks, and Harken stand-up blocks aft.

A teak trimmed companionway entry leads to the teak steps and the main saloon below.

When entering, you first notice the main saloon’s open feeling; then realize the sole is planked teak, the settee cushions are Ultra leather, and the cabinetry has a warm satin finish, while the headliner reflects the light from the upgraded, larger widows and added opening ports. The main saloon and both forward and aft cabins are air conditioned and heated.

With custom cabinets, a new microwave, and gray countertop the seven-foot galley to starboard, provides an ample, safe working area with light and ventilation from the optional opening ports, as well as access to the owner’s cabin aft.

To port is the updated version of the outboard facing nav-station with full navigation and communications electronics, ample desk space, storage and laptop access; plus, a custom full height teak bookcase with cabinets.

The owner’s cabin aft has a centerline queen berth, all the Hylas custom cabinetry, opening ports and large hatch for ventilation, a settee starboard, and a folding vanity with mirror and storage to port. The owner’s head has a stall shower, ample mirrors and an electric head. A splendid washer/dryer is “hidden” in the shower cabinet.

As noted above the guest cabin forward has a custom center-line queen berth (not the typical Pullman berth.) There is an ensuite head to port.

She invites your inspection. Click the Immersive Tour box in the photo for a 3-D 360 degree "Walk-in-Tour."
