The performance of the Contender 36 is second to none for its generation. It cuts through the big seas well and gets you there fast over long distances. The boat was repowered with Yamaha's most reliable and proven 300 HP 4 stroke engines in 2021.
The Contender 36 comes with a head, above-deck live wells in the transom, one in deck live well and one in the seat behind helm seat and huge in-deck fish boxes outboard on both sides to handle numerous large pelagic fish.
With a fresh interior paint job including non-skid on the deck and gunwales and new cushions all updated in the summer of 2023 this boat is a must see!!
There is plenty of storage for all your gear in three large storage wells forward of the console. There is also plenty of rod storage throughout the boat. Five vertical rod holders on each side of the helm console, four more across the back of the T-Top, five across leaning post back and 14 gunwale rod holders 7 on each side 2 are swivel rod holders perfect for sword fishing with 30 amp 12 volt electric plugs for your Lindgren Pitman reels!
