Description

CH Marine is proud to introduce the new 38FS. The 38FS offers a level of customization that sets it apart in the yachting world. Owners can choose between outboard or inboard engines, allowing for tailored customization to suit individual preferences. Owners can pick between twin diesel engine packages, ranging from 260 to 370 HP per engine or twin gas outboard engines ranging from 300 to 450 HP per engine. The 38FS will still offer the sought after performance of the original Runabout but will accommodate those that are looking for some extra seating all while maintaining the classic lines. The moderate V-hull is designed with 15 degree deadrise at the transom and a narrow 10 foot beam to provide a smooth, comfortable ride at all speeds. Combine this with noise abatement and vibration reduction systems and you get a perfect harmony between handsome styling, speed and comfort. The 38FS will be able to cruise at speeds ranging from 18 to 40 knots, reaching max speeds of over 50 knots.

The cockpit is arranged for each individual's custom layout. Wrap around U-shaped seating in the aft cockpit and aft facing benches in the pilothouse are just some of the options. There is an option for a full countertop with a wet bar or if preferred an inboard facing bench seat on the port side. The helm area provides safety from the elements behind a windshield and canvas navy top. The 38FS will be the only available convertible top boat on the market with forward seating.

For more adverse climates the 38FS is also offered as a hardtop with opening windows and two overhead hatches.

The 38FS will provide the option of having two day beds, one in the forward seating and the other in the cockpit. The forward table will have the adversity to sink flush to the floor, become a filler for a daybed or serve as a dining table. There is ample storage under the cockpit sole. All of these amenities are still accompanied by a head and berth for sleeping within a fully enclosed cabin. Five inch thick cushions provide comfort for sitting or sleeping while two opening ports and overhead opening hatch allow natural lighting and abundant ventilation. CH Marine craftsmen and women take immense pride in every classic boat that is built. Each boat is built on a semi-custom basis, new owners are welcome and encouraged to stop by during the building process.

The 38FS is a testament to the artistry and expertise of CH Marine craftsmen. Employing a fusion of time-honored techniques and cutting-edge construction methods, every inch of this vessel reflects meticulous attention to detail. From the graceful curvature of the hull, to the handcrafted finishes, it's a masterpiece that stands as a testament to the highest standards of quality and longevity. For enthusiasts and collectors, owning a 38FS by CH Marine is akin to possessing a piece of maritime history. With a limited production run and a dedication to preserving the essence of the original design, these yachts are destined to become cherished heirlooms.

Mordechai “Mordy” Miltz entered the maritime industry in 2004 at the age of 19 when he owned and operated a fishing supply company in the Northeast. During this time, Mordy actively pursued continuing education by gaining his Merchant Mariner Credential, among other maritime certifications. This entrepreneurial mindset provided a strategic opportunity for Mordy to enter the yacht brokerage industry. In less than two years, Mordy opened his first office in Long Island, NY, and another in South Florida shortly thereafter. Mordy has connected with top leaders in communities all over the eastern seaboard, and most recently on the west coast. He is a confident and tactical negotiator and has been afforded opportunities globally.

Mordy is an avid fisherman, with sponsorships and awards in top tournaments such as the Mid-Atlantic 500, White Marlin Open, and Blue Water Movements. He regularly sails and races on a Farr 40, and also enjoys a few rounds of sporting clays. Mordy has also obtained the CPYB (Certified Professional Yacht Broker) accreditation.
