Hull:

The hull is hand laid FRP exterior laminate with a NIDACORE system.

There are three bulkheads and four FRP encased stringers.

Decks are hand laid glass strand molded with NAUTEX coring material

Stability through the water is achieved by having the keel run 2/3's the length of the boat

Her drive shaft and propeller is protected by the keel.

The rudder is double posted through the hull on top and on the keel at the bottom

Matt Key is a Florida native that grew up fishing and boating the waters of the Treasure Coast and the Palm Beaches.


Matt’s first job was in the marine industry as an employee at Monterey Custom Yachts which is now known as American Custom Yachts. Matt learned several valuable skills working with the master craftsmen while at Monterey Yachts that he still falls back on today. Matt has held several positions throughout his career including rigger, transporter, dock master, and product representative.


When it comes to fishing very few have the love, passion, and experience that Matt has. Matt co-captained the No Delay Fishing Team on the Southern Kingfish Association (SKA) circuit for 6 years and fished several other local tournaments in the Southeast US. With several wins and top finishes in multiple tournaments, he has been able to establish a large number of friends and contacts in fishing circles. Matt has tallied over 250 sailfish releases and is always happy to take time to sit down and trade stories or give out a few fishing tips with anyone that asks.
