As a yacht broker, Eric loves that he gets to develop and maintain connections and friendships within the boating community and combine his extensive sales and operations background with his desire to help others in their boating journey. His personality and ease to have comfortable conversations are contagious. If there is a marina or harbor nearby, you’ll find Eric walking the docks to check out the boats and yachts and make new friends. He loves building relationships and is continuously improving his boating industry knowledge. 

Eric grew up in Michigan on the Great Lakes, where his family always had boats, and he spent as much time as possible on the water. From an early age, he sustained a lifelong passion for fishing and many other water activities and the shared camaraderie of boaters. After college, Eric was an active participant in the boating community in Clear Lake, Texas, where he spent many happy years on the lake or in the Gulf. Living now in the Dallas area, he has come to appreciate Texas’ inland lakes. Eric and his family return to Northern Michigan regularly to spend time boating and fishing on the lakes. He and his family have sailed in the Caribbean and are looking forward to repeating that experience.

Eric is a graduate of the highly regarded Yacht Broker’s Institute and joined Team Galati in 2021. Currently, he operates out of the Houston yacht brokerage in Texas. Although well versed in all markets, Eric specializes in the motor yacht & sport cruiser market, with a strong focus on Cruisers Yachts, and Prestige along with other related brands. He is a believer in Galati’s mission to deliver excellence in client service. It is one of the things that drew him to Galati and something he strives for every day.
