The 2016 MJM 40z "CRUZ" is a fuel-efficient 40-foot powerboat, thanks to both the Volvo IPS pods and the Seakeeper 5, she is able to cruise at over 30 knots while delivering first-rate cruising accommodation. It didn't hurt that the 40z's classic Down East styling ranked with the best in her class, or that a small crowd could be seated in luxury and comfort in her single-level cockpit. Built on a modified-V hull with a moderate 12 foot beam, the high-tech construction of the 40Z makes her a very weight-efficient boat.
