Manufacturer Provided Description

Yellowfin’s flagship sets the standard for what a big, brawny, no-holds-barred center console can be, designed for triple or quad outboard power, the 42 can run circles around big diesel inboards in a Marlin Tournament (while burning a fraction of the fuel), but is equally at home competing in a local KDW competition. Its versatility in terms of the sheer number of tasks it does well defies comparison. Whether you seek a large, family boat for weekend excursions in total safety and comfort, or a full-on tournament ready battlewagon, the 42 easily accommodates both duties. With an unmatched attention to detail in fit-and-finish, smooth dry ride, and performance, there is simply nothing else in the market to compare.

Peter Shaarda was born and raised in Naples, Florida. Growing up in a small quiet town, boating, fishing, and water sports were his favorite hobbies. Spending plenty of time in the Florida Keys growing up fishing and lobstering became his favorite pastime. By age of 7, he was able to operate the family’s 23-foot boat by himself even loading and unloading off the trailer. By the age of 10, he knew what he that he wanted to be, a Sportfish Captain, and his dream began.

Peter graduated from Lynn University in Boca Raton with a bachelor’s degree in business management. After college, he owned and operated his own charter fishing boat for 7 successful years. Then his opportunity presented itself to move into the Sportfishing portion of the industry!

After multiple mate positions and a few captains’ positions, he landed his dream job on a traveling Sportfish. This Sportfish took him south to St Thomas USVI and Aruba. It took him west to Costa Rica, Panama, Honduras, and Mexico. He also has chased the bluefin Tuna up in Cape Cod.

Recently, his boss decided to sell the sportfish and investigated buying a large yacht. Peter was introduced to a gentleman named John Dial a broker with United Yacht Sales. John and Peter hit it off immediately. The sale of the Sportfish went through with ease, Peter had the yacht in such immaculate condition that the surveyor had almost nothing to write about and the boat closed without any negotiations after the survey! Hats off to Peter, John had never seen that before in the 30 years brokering boats prior to this sale!

Peter brings United Yacht Sales a great work ethic, loyalty, commitment, and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done for his customers.
