Description

Crazy Love is truly a lovely boat that has received the best of care by her original owners. They pull everything off the boat in the winter and store it in a temperature controlled storage facility. We have just put her cushions on but kept all the fabrics ie. bed spreads, pillows, etc in the plastic containers. Though she would present a little better, everything is out of the way to inspect the vessel by a buyer or surveyor.

The Beneteau 323 has all-round performance and a strong design in terms of comfort inside, at the helm or on deck. With ingenious interior fittings, the Oceanis 323 offers amazing living and storage spaces. This safe and very well-equipped vessel boasts competitive stability and performance, downwind as well as upwind.

Overview

Accommodations

The interior of the 323 packs a lot into her 32 feet. Two private staterooms, large head with shower area and a comfortable salon for cruising. Starting forward is the first stateroom. Here one will find a V-berth with removable filler, hanging locker to port and hatch above for ventilation and light.

Going aft you enter the main salon. Here she has a fixed centerline table with large leafs for dining on both sides. Navy cushions add warmth as well as the wood accents in the cabinetry. Storage outboard and behind the seat back cushions. Aft facing navigation station on starboard. Faux teak and holly sole add warmth as well but also is a breeze for cleaning and maintaining.

Aft by the companionway is the large head to starboard with vanity, toilet and shower area. To port is the L-shaped galley and access to the Master stateroom aft. The Master has a large hanging locker and huge berth that tucks under the cockpit. It is bright, inviting and comfortable. Centerline companionway serves as the engine access as well as access to the cockpit.

Crazy Love has custom spreads and shams for the berths and throw pillows for the salon. All are presently stored in containers on the vessel to allow easy access for one to inspect under the berths and cushions. All the ports have shades for privacy and hatches have canvas covers all of which protect her interior when the vessel is left for an extended time.

Her cockpit is very comfortable and has cockpit cushions. Her decks are clear and uncluttered allowing easy access to the foredeck. Her walk-thru transom is great for boarding from a dinghy or just swimming while sitting on the hook. The 323 makes for a wonderful performance cruiser in a perfect size that will not overwhelm and is easily single handed.

The water has always been a part of my life since learning to sail aboard a Sailfish while vacationing in Chatham, Massachusetts. At twelve, I graduated to Penguins and 420’s at the Tred Avon Yacht Club in Oxford, Maryland. My parents always belonged to the Corinthian Yacht Club in Philadelphia and I often accompanied them on cruises aboard a Hinckley Bermuda 40 that we cruised in the Chesapeake.

Understanding banking after working 12 years for Loyola Savings and Loan of Maryland, I helped navigate the purchase of a 32’ Pearson Vanguard for a friend and taught him to sail. Loving the idea of sharing my passion for boating, I joined Oxford Boatyard Yacht Sales (in what is now Safe Harbor Oxford Boatyard and Marina) in 1990 and worked as a broker and office manager for 25 years.

In 1993, Oxford Boatyard Yacht Sales became a dealer for Sabre and Back Cove Motor Yachts and I acquired an understanding and respect for powerboats. I worked closely with the boatyard commissioning new vessels and working as a liaison between new owners and the marina. I have an intimate understanding of the boat buying process - how to guide new owners through surveys, sea trials, registration, and documentation.

I love all boats and each one has its own quality. Though I would consider myself a traditionalist in boat design, I like what the new designs offer in comfort and ability.

My husband (of 30 years) and I live in Easton, Maryland. My husband is the rigging supervisor at Safe Harbor Oxford Boatyard and our daughter, having graduated from Washington College in 2020, is now teaching English as well as coaching the sailing team at the Gunston School in Centreville, Md. She has recently come on board as the Summer Sailing Director with the Tred Avon Yacht Club.

I am starting my 7th year as a broker with Brewer Yacht Sales and in addition to my office at Safe Harbor Zahniser’s in Solomon’s, Maryland I now have an office at Safe Harbor Oxford. This enables me to cover the territory from the Eastern Shore to Solomon’s Island and everything in between.

I look forward to speaking with you and sharing my passion for boats. Let me help you find the perfect yacht or support and guide you in the sale of your existing vessel!
