"Flips Ahoy" is a 2021 Ranger Tugs R-29 Northwest Edition, which means it is specially designed for cold weather boating, with durable AGM batteries, Forced air diesel-powered heating, and downrigger plugs and pads for adding fishing and crabbing equipment. 

Able to sleep up to 6, she is a comfortable cruiser with the ability to go quickly (Cruises at 15 knots, top speed 19 knots on the Single Volvo D4 320Hp diesel engine). 

Surveyed in March and April 2024, we have a full report, haul-out pictures, mechanical report and oil samples. Most survey findings have been taken care of.

Exterior Description

Cockpit:

  • Rooftop - Fiberglass, with lights and a wood underside. Has two hatches.
  • Storage – Storage wells to Port and starboard, Large center hatch is for the Volvo D4 engine. Three cubbies to Starboard.
  • Cockpit seats - Folding, with Beige Sunbrella covers. One bench for two centered, one bench to Port, and one to Starboard. The Bench for two in the center can be flipped backwards to face aft into the swim platform.
  • Cockpit table -Teak, with Beige Sunbrella cover. Can be removed and stowed.
  • Opening Bulkhead to the salon – Flip up the glass and metal-framed bulkhead and flip the salon settee back, and you get a nice 2 person bench to sit on.
